MORE celebrity moms like Jenna Dewan, Ashlee Simpson and Vanderpump Rules’ star Lala Kent are opening up about turning their placenta into pills.
Juliane Corona, founder of pill production company Mommy Made Encapsulation, says the pills offer health benefits including increased energy, breast milk supply and a faster postpartum recovery- and celebs are hooked.
Juliane and her team have encapsulated placental pills for a slew of celebrity clientele including Jenna, Ashlee, Lala as well as Whitney Port, Stassi Schroeder, and Erica Mena and Bambi Richardson from Love & Hip Hop just to name a few.
“It’s been amazing working with mothers all over the country to help them on their postpartum recovery.
It’s also an honor to have to have celebrity moms, like Jenna Dewan and Ashlee Simpson Ross, come to us for their placenta encapsulation,” Juliane told The Sun.
“And we have some more exciting collaborations coming soon!,” the founder further teased.
Beyond Mommy Made Encapsulation’s impressive celebrity clientele roster, the company has been trusted by over 10,000 mothers around the US, and it touts itself as the “largest, most experienced placenta encapsulation company in the United States.”
The company says it uses the “Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) method. This means we steam our placentas at 220.”
The company has pick up available at some hospitals around the country, however they also provide shipping services for other locations, check their website for availability in your area.
Encapsulation starts at $200 with alleged benefits that include healing faster post-partum, especially helpful for mommies with c-sections.
The pills have been said to also increase energy levels, increase milk supply and help lessen the chance of postpartum depression.
“All hospitals will release you your placenta. Once you are admitted, tell your nurse you are keeping your placenta. They will have you sign a release form. They will put your placenta in a container (which they provide) and Mommy Made Encapsulation will pick it up.”
If you live in an area that doesn’t have pick up , the company sends you a placenta collection/shipment kit which “includes everything you need, to collect your placenta and ship it to us via UPS.”
