Mauro Icardi could be set to join Juventus on a loan deal in January, after his wife and agent Wanda Nara met with president Andrea Agnelli.
Football Italia have published claims made by Footmercato that the Argentine could make a temporary switch to the Turin club from Paris Saint Germain.
The 28-year-old has managed just three goals in 17 appearances across all competitions this season, and mustered just six starts in Ligue 1.
The arrival of Lionel Messi has restricted his game time and he has been hampered further after an off-pitch scandal involving Nara.
Meanwhile, Massimiliano Allegri’s side are in desperate need for a goalscorer after scoring only 22 goals in 16 Serie A matches – the lowest total in the top half of the table heading into Saturday’s match away at Venezia.
Their problems upfront have been heightened with Paulo Dybala yet to agree a new deal, while Alvaro Morata’s future is still uncertain.
Juve have been continuously linked with Icardi since his previous spell in Italy with Inter Milan, and he could be the man to end their attacking woes.
But Icardi’s focus will be on PSG for now, as Mauricio Pochettino’s team host Monaco at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.
They are in a commanding position in Ligue 1 and hold and 11-point lead over second-place Rennes at the top of the table.
