Jeffrey Epstein’s circle of high-profile friends continues to grow as the sexual abuse case against Epstein reveals more details about the underworkings of the rich & powerful. Given the court is releasing more flight records to Little St. James – along with the island guest lists – we’re finding more well-known names associated with Epstein.
Here are some of the people you’ll least expect to have visited the island known colloquially as “Little St. Jeff’s”.
Stephen Hawking
Out of all of the people in the world, who would’ve thought a group of the brightest minds in the world would gather together to discuss dark matter and string theory on an island with a moniker like “Orgy Island”?
In March 2006, physicists from around the world gathered on Caribbean island St. Thomas for a science conference. During the event, funded by Jeffrey Epstein Dr. Hawking joined a small group of theoretical physicists to visit nearby Little St. James for a barbecue.’
Other guests at the party included David Gross, Gerard ‘t Hooft, Lawrence Krauss, Martin Nowak, Lisa Randall, and Frank Wilczek. Krauss was investigated for sexual misconduct by Arizona State University in July 2018 and retired in 2019. Meanwhile, Nowak was placed on academic leave at Harvard University when the institution discovered Nowak gave Epstein access to the campus.
There isn’t any evidence of sexual assault happening during the barbecue, but a photo with Hawking, Gross, and Randall at the party was released a few years ago.
Prince Andrew, Duke of York
Prince Andrew has made headlines for his connections to Epstein, but it doesn’t negate the shock that literal royalty made its way to Epstein’s “Little St. Jeff’s”. With so much evidence including eyewitness accounts, flight log records, and photographs, it’s quite clear the prince visited the infamous tropical island.
In the Netflix docuseries Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, one of the island’s IT employees, Steve Skully, emphatically named Prince Andrew as one of the celebrity visitors he had seen on the island in 2004.
Clementine Hambro
Another royal joined the Epstein guest list. Clementine Hambro was revealed as an island guest after her name was found in Epstein’s disclosed flight logs. Hambro is the great-grandaughter of Winston Churchill and was a bridesmaid at Prince Charles & Princess Diana’s 1981 wedding.
Hambro released a statement after her name was released, explaining why she went to the island. Hambro took two trips on Epstein’s plane: one of them was to look at Epstein’s house in Santa Fe, while the other was a private invitation from Epstein to visit Little St. James. Hambro said she thought it “would be fun to accept”.
Once getting to the island, however, Hambro said she “didn’t know anyone there, didn’t really enjoy [herself], and never went back.” Hambro also clarified she didn’t witness any form of abuse while at Epstein’s house nor his island.
Bill Clinton
In hindsight, it might not be too surprising, given Clinton’s history & reputation, but having a U.S. president at “Pedophile Island” is rather troubling, to say the least.
Along with Prince Andrew, Steve Skully also named Clinton in Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich. Virginia Giuffre, a well-known Epstein survivor, reported she saw Clinton on the island in 2002. Her account was released when her 2011 defamation case was unsealed, but Clinton continues to refute the claims.
